Inxent, in the Vallee de la Course, Pas de Calais is a small hamlet near Boulogne & Le Touquet within easy reach of superb beaches, golf courses and major shopping outlets
The Somme Estuary in Picardy can be reached in an hour or so by car .
A picturesque 18th century farmhouse/cottage recently extended & modernised is now a large holiday home, ideally located for exploring the Pas de calais, Picardy & the Somme Estuary and other areas in Northern France.
A private grassed courtyard with 2 patios complete with benches & tables leads into a large secluded garden with fruit trees. The rear garden backs onto the River Course which flows past and tumbles down past the old mill house next door and on under the bridge.
The house has 6 bedrooms, 3 with double beds, 1 with a bunk bed sleeping 2, 1 with 2 single beds and 1 with 3 single beds. There are 2 bathrooms, a shower room, downstairs toilet, a spacious fully equipped country kitchen/diner and large lounge.
Full of character & country charm, around the corner there is an equestrian centre where you can go horse riding yet it is only minutes from Le Touquet & Hardelot beaches & golf courses.
For the shop-a-holic, Le Touquet with its shops & boutiques is only a 15 minute drive plus Cite Europe and The Designer Centre are only about 40 minutes away, just past Boulogne on the A16.
However, for sheer relaxation, why not just have a BBQ & bottle of wine in the garden and lay out on one of the benches!
This must be in one of the prime areas of the Pas de Calais set in the "Area des Sept Vallees". Whilst rural in nature with the river winding directly past, it is right on the door-step of some of the best towns in Northern France.
